2.1 Final Sale Items — No Returns, No Refunds, No Exchanges
The following products and services are FINAL SALE and are not eligible for return, refund, exchange, or store credit under any circumstances:
- All XPEL Precut DIY Window Tint Kits
- All XPEL Precut DIY PPF (Paint Protection Film) Kits
- All custom-cut window film of any brand or type
- All custom-plotted, weeded, or labeled kits
- Any product cut, plotted, or produced to a customer's specific vehicle make, model, year, VLT percentage, coverage area, or any other custom specification
- Film plotting, cutting, weeding, and labeling services
- Any service specifically and personally tailored to the customer's specifications
These products are manufactured to order, custom-cut to the customer's specific vehicle and specifications, and cannot be resold, restocked, or reused. By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this final sale policy.
This policy applies regardless of reason, including: change of mind, wrong vehicle selected, dissatisfaction with installation, damage during installation, shipping delays, failed delivery due to customer unavailability, incorrect address, or chargebacks initiated without contacting DrivenMN.
This policy is displayed on the cart page prior to checkout, stated in these Terms, and may be communicated verbally by our team. Completing checkout constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance.
2.2 Order Cancellation
Cancellation requests for custom-cut products are subject to the following:
- Within 24 hours, production not yet begun: Customer may request cancellation in writing (email or text). If DrivenMN confirms production has not started, a full refund will be issued minus any non-recoverable payment processing fees.
- After production has begun: The order is non-cancellable. The full Final Sale policy applies. No refund, credit, or exchange.
- After shipment: Cannot be cancelled. The customer may not refuse delivery to effect a cancellation. If refused and returned, the customer pays reshipment costs and no refund is issued.
Cancellation of non-custom retail products is accepted within 24 hours if not yet shipped. DrivenMN determines at its sole discretion whether production has begun.
2.3 Customer Responsibility for Vehicle Selection & Fitment
The customer is solely responsible for selecting the correct vehicle make, model, year, body style, trim level, and all other specifications at checkout or when communicating specifications to the DrivenMN team.
DrivenMN is not responsible for kits that do not fit due to incorrect vehicle information provided by the customer. No refunds, replacements, exchanges, or credits will be issued. The Final Sale policy applies in full.
If unsure, contact our team before ordering. We are happy to help verify fitment. Once an order is placed and production begins, the customer assumes full responsibility for the specifications selected.
2.4 DIY Installation Disclaimer & Product Warranty
2.4a DIY Installation — At Your Own Risk
All DIY kits are intended for self-installation. DrivenMN provides no warranty on installation results. The customer assumes all risk, including:
- Film damage during installation (creases, tears, stretching, contamination)
- Improper application resulting in bubbles, fingers, gaps, or lifting
- Damage to vehicle glass, paint, or trim during installation
- Incorrect use of tools, heat guns, slip solutions, or other materials
- Cosmetic results that do not meet expectations
DrivenMN is not liable for vehicle damage from DIY installation. No refunds or replacements for film damaged during installation. DrivenMN strongly recommends professional installation for windshield tint, panoramic roof tint, and full-body PPF.
2.4b Product Warranty — Defective Materials Only
DrivenMN warrants that all XPEL film products will be free from manufacturing defects at delivery. This covers:
- Film arriving with visible defects (holes, tears, scratches, discoloration) not caused by shipping damage
- Incorrect film type, VLT, or product shipped (different from confirmed order)
- Missing pieces or incomplete kits (verified against order specifications)
Claims must be made within 7 calendar days of delivery with photos showing the defect in uninstalled condition. Film that has been installed, cut, trimmed, or altered is not eligible.
Not covered: damage during installation, improper handling/storage, cosmetic dissatisfaction, normal wear, or issues from installing on damaged glass/paint.
Approved claims are resolved by replacement only. No refunds for warranty claims on custom products.
2.5 Modifications to Completed Orders
Order modifications (e.g., VLT changes, adding windows, adding services) are handled as follows:
- Before production: May be accommodated at DrivenMN's discretion. Price changes require payment before production begins.
- After production or shipment: Not possible. A new supplemental order is required. The original order remains subject to the Final Sale policy.
Supplemental orders placed by phone, email, or text are subject to all the same policies as online orders. Verbal confirmation of specifications on a recorded call constitutes acceptance of all applicable policies.
2.6 Eligible Returns (Non-Custom Retail Goods Only)
Non-custom, unopened, in-stock retail products may be returned within 14 calendar days of delivery:
- Items must be unused, unopened, in original packaging, and in resalable condition
- Contact DrivenMN first for return authorization
- 15% restocking fee deducted from refund
- Original shipping costs non-refundable
- Customer pays return shipping
- Refund processed to original payment method within 7–10 business days
Returns arriving damaged, opened, used, or non-resalable will be refused and returned at customer's expense.
2.7 Failed Deliveries
If a package is returned due to customer unavailability, incorrect address, refusal, or any customer-controlled reason, the order remains valid. Customer pays reshipment costs. No refunds for custom products returned due to delivery failure.
2.8 Defective or Damaged Products
If a product arrives defective or damaged in transit, contact us within 7 calendar days with photos. We will arrange replacement at no charge. Does not apply to installation damage or customer error. See Section 2.4b for full warranty terms.
2.9 Dispute Resolution & Chargebacks
If the customer has any concern, the customer must contact DrivenMN in writing (Ethan@DrivenMN.com or text (612) 843-WRAP) before initiating any chargeback, dispute, or payment reversal. Written notice must be provided within 14 calendar days of the delivery or attempted delivery date. Concerns not raised within this period are waived.
DrivenMN will have 30 business days to investigate and resolve the concern in good faith.
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting DrivenMN and allowing the resolution period is a violation of these terms.
DrivenMN reserves the right to dispute all chargebacks with full evidence including order records, shipping documentation, recorded phone calls and transcripts, text messages, emails, and policy screenshots.
If a chargeback investigation rules in favor of DrivenMN, the customer is liable for all fees, costs, and expenses incurred, including chargeback processing fees, merchant fees, administrative costs, research time, and reasonable attorneys' fees.
If a chargeback is decided in favor of the customer and DrivenMN suffers a loss, the customer remains liable for: (a) the full original invoice; (b) all merchant and chargeback fees assessed to DrivenMN; (c) all response costs. This amount will be invoiced and is due within 30 calendar days.
If payment is not received within 30 days, the customer irrevocably authorizes DrivenMN to remove any graphics, film, or materials supplied and/or retake possession of products provided.
Any subcontracted portion of an order is completely non-refundable.
Unresolved disputes shall be resolved by a court in Dakota County, State of Minnesota, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
